Ogata Gekko gekko portrait "New Wave"

This series does not have any name that I have been able to find so I have temporarily called it the "New Wave" series. I have done this because one of the prints appears in the book "The New Wave: 20th Century Japanese Prints from the Robert O. Muller Collection". Indeed it appears that this is the only print from this series so far published (It is also found in "Imperial Japan: The art of the Meiji Era, 1868-1912" by Frederick Baekeland). Stylistically these prints appear to be from around the same time as the 100 Fuji series i.e. the turn of the 20th Century. There is some possibility that they are not even a series, the two prints of bijin have a later signature than the others, and two of the prints (depicting the moon and waves and Miyagi mountain) have a distinctive colored 'frame' not seen on the other prints. The prints are oban size, the publisher is unknown. The first image is one found in "The New Wave".
